The position profile is developed after receiving detailed feedback from the hiring manager, peers, as well as direct reports to the new hire. This feedback is used to accurately define the new role, thereby ensuring optimal search strategy development, and marketplace targeting.

Collectively, Blue and the Client determine the best positioning in the marketplace, as well as target companies where prospective candidates may be today. Blue further enhances the search strategy by leveraging its’ extensive network of technology professionals as both candidates, and sources of candidates. Throughout the search, market feedback is relayed to the Client and the search strategy is refined accordingly.


» Candidate Generation

Blue conducts exhaustive research and taps into an unmatched network to identify prospective candidates. Current and former executives from target companies are identified and recruited in addition to executives with similar skill sets from competitor companies. Blue will interview each candidate and will present only the most qualified candidates to the Client for consideration.


» Market Profile

Blue Executive Search delivers a market profile after completing research into the marketplace. The market profile gives an invaluable look at how the opportunity is received within the market and the resulting candidate pool. Blue reviews the market profile with the Client, and recommends next steps and strategy revisions (if necessary).


» Candidate Interviews

Collectively, Blue and the Client determine the best possible interview strategy. Working with the Client, Blue schedules all interviews and manages all the details of the meetings. Blue collects feedback on every candidate interviewed and debriefs candidates within 3 days of the meetings.


» Weekly Status Reports

Weekly updates detail candidates in process as well as prospects that have declined consideration and their feedback.


» Reference Checks

Blue conducts detailed reference checks on finalist candidates paying particular attention to potential areas of concern. References are presented to the client in report form and includes specific questions and detailed responses.


» Offer Negotiation

The final and most critical stage of the process. Compensation data is collected throughout the search so that a comprehensive understanding of the market is gained. A competitive and compelling offer is agreed upon and presented to the candidate. Blue manages all offer negotiations to ensure acceptance.
